味の素(東京都中央区)は、ミャンマーで調味料および粉末飲料の生産拠点を整備し、製品カテゴリーを拡充しミャンマー事業拡大を加速、早期に年商100億円を超える事業規模を目指す。
同社の関係会社、ミャンマー味の素食品社(本社:ヤンゴン管区ティラワ経済特区内、以下、MAF社)は、８月からうま味調味料「味の素(R)」の生産工場を本格稼働させ、販売を開始している。また、同特区内に約2200万米㌦(約24億円)を投じ、粉末飲料「Blendy(R)」３in１(「バーディ」３in１)の工場を建設中で、2018年４月に販売を開始する予定。さらに2018年上期中に、味の素(R)の工場内に風味調味料「Ros Dee」(「ロッディ－」)」の生産ライン導入を計画しており、製品カテゴリーを拡充する。これによりミャンマーにおける事業拡大を加速する。
ミャンマーにおけるうま味調味料の2016年度の年間消費量は、前年度比102％の約５万2000㌧(同社推定)で、ASEAN地域ではベトナム、インドネシア、タイに次ぐ市場規模を持つ。

  250. When I originally left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment is added I recieve four emails with the same comment. Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service? Cheers.
