熊谷組 ラオスから「漁業養殖研究開発計画」受注
熊谷組はラオス農林省から、同国への再進出となる工事「漁業養殖研究開発強化計画」を受注した。同社の同国での工事は15年ぶりとなる。工事は日本の政府開発援助(ODA)によって行われる。
この工事は首都ビエンチャン市ナムスワン(ビエンチャン市中心部から車で北へ約１時間)に位置する既存施設のナムスワン養殖センター内に養殖開発施設を新設するもの。工事価格は５億4500万円、工期は2017年７月～2018年６月。
同施設の詳細は事務・研修棟、宿泊棟、種苗生産棟、高架水槽、、ミジンコ培養槽、親魚池・中間育成池(６カ所)、排水調整池の建設と電気設備・機械設備・給排水衛生設備などの建築付帯設備の付設、研究開発にかかる資機材などの調達を担当する。
ラオスでは淡水魚が重要な動物性たんぱく源で、漁業は重要な産業となっている。
