バリ島50年ぶり噴火の可能性高まり7.5万人超が避難
インドネシアの人気の高い観光地バリ島のアグン山で、およそ50年ぶりに火山噴火する可能性が高まっていて、避難した住民は７万5000人以上に上っている。地元当局は９月22日に警戒レベルを最も高いレベル４に引き上げ、噴火口から半径９～12㌔㍍の区域を立ち入り禁止とした。
こうした状況を受け、同国のジョコ・ウィドド大統領は万全な体制をとる考えを強調した。山頂付近では、水蒸気とみられる白煙も立ち昇り、1963年に1000人以上の犠牲者を出した噴火以来、およそ50年ぶりとなる噴火の可能性が高まっている。
