NTTデータは９月12日から、小売事業者向けに訪日外国人を対象としたマーケティング活動と購買促進をサポートする「CAFIS Attendant(キャフィス アテンダント)」を本格的に提供開始した。
このサービスは、購買時に訪日外国人客が手に取った商品の興味情報(商品名・言語・日時等)を収集する多言語商品説明アプリとデータ分析をする管理Webで構成され、小売事業者のインバウンド戦略のサポートを行うもの。
商品バーコードを読み込むと５カ国語で商品の詳細情報を表示・閲覧可能とし、訪日外国人客は安心・納得して買い物を楽しめるようになる。これにより接客スタッフの負担軽減、コミュニケーションのサポートに貢献する。
